Ice Show “Spirit of the Olympics” is HERE!

Monday March 15th is DRESS REHEARSAL AND PHOTO NIGHT!
Sunday, March 21st is the BIG DAY!
*Carnival is from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m- ALL skaters are asked
to be at the arena by 1:30 p.m.
*Decorating will occur from 12:00-1:00 p.m

***All skaters will be involved in the Opening and Closing
Ceremony Skate.
Items required for these numbers include the following:
* A Canada fleece/hoodie (preferable red&white)
* Black top and bottoms
* A flashlight (labeled with family name)
Please make sure your skater(s) have these items for the
March 15
DRESS REHEARSAL!!! All other costuming items will be taken
care of by the GROUP PARENT!
2. Group Parents-These are the people that will get you
organized for the main event.
Your group parent will be contacting you this week to
provide you with information regarding costumes, and rehearsal time. Groups
and group names will be posted on the OFSC bulletin board at the bottom of
the stairs.
3. Dress Rehearsal and Ice Show Photos- Monday, March 15
The following is our schedule for dress rehearsal, we ask
that you have your child(ren) at the rink in enough time to change into
costumes and be ready for practice and photos.

The Ice Show team will be using the group photos for the
production of the “Spirit of the Olympics” program. Each child will receive
a group photo and an individual pose, in costume, as a memento. Please note
the cost of these photos have been included in your registration fee. We are
thankful to Tim Kelly Photography for providing his services to our club
once again.

CANSKATE parents please ensure your little skater
remains for the ENTIRE program. We have an exciting Finale planned that will
require ALL of our skaters participation.
4. Sugar Rose
Floral Studio will be AT the ICESHOW to offer, for purchase,
a variety of flower gifts for your special
skater(s). This is a special way to recognize their hard work in preparing
for the carnival.
5. Any parent wishing to take pictures of their child(ren)
during the ice show, do so at the SOUTH side of the rink, near the exit.
Unfortunately, it is difficult to coordinate the groups of skaters with
extra people in the ice entrance area. Thank you for your attention to
detail.
6.
Decorating- Preparing the ice and arena for
Carnival is a very large task. Your carnival co-chairs are seeking ANY
assistance on the day of the event and prior to, to make sure we are
‘Olympic Ready.’ A work bee will be taking place on Saturday, March 13th at
Horizon School in Jamie Petersen’s classroom.
